Dr. Yu-Xing Zhao received his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Jiangsu Normal College (now Soochow University) in 1982, his Master's degree in Laser from Shanghai Institute of Optical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1985, and his PhD in Communication from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Sydney in 1997
Since 1988, he has been working at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Sydney, Fiber Optic Technology Research Centre, and Australian National Photonics Centre on fiber lasers, amplifiers, and fiber sensors.
In 2000, he returned to China to establish Jiangsu Farson Photonics Co., Ltd. as director, deputy general manager and chief engineer.
In 2005, we founded Suzhou Delphi Laser Co., Ltd., dedicated to the development of various laser fine processing solutions, empowering modern manufacturing with advanced lasers.
Awarded the Science and Technology Prize of Jiangsu Province by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province in 2010
In 2014, he was selected as "Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent of China Innovation Talent Promotion Plan".
